Community Minded Real Estate: I recently spent two days in the Pacific Northwest at a conference that has opened my eyes and will affect the way I do business on a daily basis. The conference was called Genuine Hustle and capped out at 100 real estate agents from across the country. I was honored to be included.
I left renewed and uplifted by my real estate community, committed to do many of the things I have talked about for quite some time – including this blog (ahem!) and expand video.
To say that the content was amazing and relatable is an understatement. What I found most inspirational was the group of agents in the room. Some I’ve known for years and some I’m just getting to know. All amazing and coming from a place of abundance. Refreshing and rewarding to say the least.
I have always considered myself a community minded realtor. I love to talk to home buyers and sellers about the amazing aspects of their communities – shops, restaurants and all the wonderful attributes of Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. What I’ve left out, and it so vitally important, are the stories of the people that make these neighborhoods in the DMV so fabulous and vibrant.
I’m committed to making my world a better place – as an agent, mom, friend and daughter. This space will feature new local entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, neighborhood tidbits and stories of people who call our area home.
I have shared this type of info for years with clients and friends as I drive around in my ‘realtor’ car, and now I’m committing some of this, and some of that to virtual paper.
Thanks for coming to our space and I hope you take a tidbit away now and then.
I promise you it will be authentic, honest and open.
For the love of real estate in the DMV. – Lisa
